Upon receipt, your case enquiry or request for Expert services is immediately reviewed by our internal case consultants in order to provide you with full details (inclusive of fee estimates and availability timescales) for a selection of our independent medico legal Experts who have professional expertise, report writing and courtroom experience specifically matched to the nature of your proceedings, within a maximum of 24 hours.

You will be provided with a dedicated Case Consultant – your single contact point of contact for handling all administrative and progress management aspects of your case, from communication with your instructed expert, assistance with appointments for assessments, forwarding of case documentation and final report, adherence to timescale deadlines, to general day to day information and support, until final completion.

As an Independently owned specialist staffing and service resource wholly committed to providing benefit and value for Mental Health services and the individuals who use them, we are able to provide our Expert Witness services at highly competitive hourly fees. For publically funded cases, these fees are in accordance with the guidelines as set by the Legal Services Commission, October 2011. Our Experts have committed to preferential hourly fee rates in order to work with us, in return for our representation and ongoing clinical governance support, as Corporate Member of the Expert Witness Institute. There is therefore no additional cost for use of our services, over and above our Expert’s own fees if instructed independently of us, indeed frequently, overall costs are lower.

When working with our Case Consultant and where sensitive and confidential case documentation is required to be shared, we are able to receive and send all documentation through a secure email system where clients are using and operating the same system i.e. Criminal Justice Secure Mail System.

We run a bespoke operational and secure data management system, to streamline our processes for service efficiency, quality assurance, registration & assessment of our Experts, compliance documentation and information control.

Our screening and assessment processes are extensive and thorough, and have been successfully audited against DoH employment check standards annually to date. All our Experts are interviewed personally, thoroughly screened and vetted for confirmation of their identity, professional qualifications and expertise; they are additionally required to demonstrate up to date and on-going CPD and training in Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and the Legal System in general, competence in the context of their role and their responsibilities to the Court as an Independent Expert Witness.

All reports are proof read and thoroughly checked for spelling, grammar, quality, content and compliance with CPR rules, before submission.
